An integrated desk and shelving system built around the room’s working and storage needs. Mixed plywood shelves, long wood uprights, and a desk built into the middle bay.
Work piles up in this room faster than loose furniture can absorb it. Drawings, parts, books, materials, half-finished experiments, tools, and bins of things waiting to become something.
I did not want the room organized around hiding all of it.
So one wall takes the desk, shelves, bins, books, and the cart underneath. The ceiling is nine feet. We used it.
The middle bay came first to provide a work surface, followed by the narrower storage bay. The final bay remains planned.
The shelves are cut on the CNC. The schedule is apparently not.

Enough to work out the proportions, shelf spacing, desk height, and how the sections would repeat.
The shelves repeat. Cutting them one at a time did not need to be part of the experience.
Desk in the middle, cart underneath, everything else allowed to migrate up the wall.
The project is being completed in stages. Downloadable plans are not currently available.
